How to Boost Artworks in CocoAI Curator
Overview
CocoAI Curator Boost is a paid add-on for sellers who want their listed artworks to stand out when collectors search with the AI Curator chat. Each boost slot covers one artwork for one month, and a boosted artwork ranks ahead of non-boosted artworks whenever a collector’s prompt matches it. You buy slots from the CocoAI Curator Boost card on your Manage Plan page, where the dialog lets you pick a quantity and shows the running total before you subscribe. You then attach each slot to a specific artwork from your Inventory, using the artwork card menu. Boosting only works on artworks that are already listed on the marketplace, and it builds on your Marketplace Visibility slots, which control whether an artwork can appear in front of collectors at all. Slot usage is reflected in the Available slots counter on Manage Plan and the AI Boost Slots counter on Inventory, so you can see at a glance how many boosts you have left. By the end of this guide you will have bought boost slots and applied them to the artworks you want collectors to discover first.
Before you start
- You need a seller (artist or gallery) account with artworks uploaded to your Inventory.
- Each artwork you want to boost must already be listed on the marketplace — the Boost menu item only appears for listed artworks (see How to List Artworks in the Marketplace); unlisted artworks show List on marketplace instead, and sold artworks cannot be boosted.
- Boosting also requires Marketplace Visibility slots: if the purchase dialog warns that you do not have enough visibility slots, add them first (USD 0.05 per artwork per month) before boosting.
- Boost slots cost USD 1 per artwork per month, billed monthly and renewed automatically; have a payment method ready and review the Total before clicking Subscribe & add slots.
- With no slots left, Boost in CocoAI Curator appears greyed out with a lock icon — buy more slots on the Manage Plan page first.
Steps
1. Sign in to Cohart
Sign in with your email address and password, or use Google or Apple.
2. Open Manage Plan
In the left sidebar, click Manage Plan (under Settings).
3. Find the CocoAI Curator Boost card
Scroll to the CocoAI Curator Boost card. It shows your Available slots (for example 0/0). Click Add AI Curator boost to buy slots. If you run out later, the button still reads Add AI Curator boost — you can use it anytime to add more.
4. Choose how many slots to boost
In the CocoAI Curator Boost dialog, choose how many Slots to boost. Each slot costs USD 1 per artwork / month and allows one artwork to get priority ranking in the AI Curator results over non-boosted artworks in the same prompt match. Use the Increase value button to add slots. Decrease value is greyed out while the count is 1.
5. Increase the slot count
Click Increase value again to add more slots. The Total updates automatically (for example Total USD 2 for two slots).
6. Subscribe and add slots
Review the total, then click Subscribe & add slots. You can close the dialog anytime with Cancel or the X button. What happens after subscribing: billing runs monthly and renews automatically; you can change or remove slots anytime. [UNVERIFIED — check manually]
7. Open your inventory
In the left sidebar, click Inventory. Find the artwork you want to boost — it must be listed on the marketplace.
8. Open the artwork menu
On the artwork card, click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu button.
9. Boost in CocoAI Curator
Click Boost in CocoAI Curator in the menu. When you have no boost slots left, this item is greyed out with a lock icon — buy more slots first (steps 3–6). What happens after you boost an artwork: confirmations, active-boost indicators, and the ability to remove a boost. [UNVERIFIED — check manually]
10. Confirm priority ranking in AI Curator
Your boosted artwork now ranks ahead of non-boosted artworks when collectors search the AI Curator chat with matching prompts.
Tips
- Boost requires a marketplace listing. AI Boost works on top of Marketplace Visibility — an artwork needs to be listed and discoverable before it can be ranked.
- The Boost menu item only appears for listed artworks. If your artwork is not listed, its menu shows List on marketplace instead of Boost in CocoAI Curator. Sold artworks show Re-sell instead.
- Shortcut on the inventory page. The AI Boost Slots counter on Inventory shows your slots and has a Get more button that takes you to the same purchase flow.
- Billing. USD 1 per artwork per month, billed monthly, renews automatically. You can change or remove slots anytime.
Troubleshooting
- Boost in CocoAI Curator is greyed out in the menu with a lock icon → you have no available boost slots → buy slots on the Manage Plan page first.
- Blue notice in the purchase dialog: “you do not have enough Marketplace Visibility slots available” → your artworks need marketplace visibility slots to be ranked → click Get more marketplace visibility slots inside the dialog (USD 0.05 per artwork / month) to add them, then boost.
- Artwork does not show the Boost option at all → the artwork is not listed on the marketplace or is sold → make sure the artwork is listed on the marketplace and not sold.
